Desires of REM
My unconcious life has been more visionary than usual lately. Last night I had a dream that I was walking through this park and there was this guy and there were two other girls. The one girl was nice, and the other girl was big, but pretty, and the guy wanted the big pretty girl. The other girl was sad so I walked with her and let her tell me why it sucked he didn't like her. We were on the sidewalk and now were coming out of a fancy hotel and on our way to a dance, but we passed a fire station that looked like a school. It was dark outside, it was night. We were now dressed in evening attire. Suddenly I was the girl the guy was with and I saw the other girl that was sad, but I thought she was mean, then I was the girl that was sad and I thought the other girl was clueless and was taking away a man I loved. I think dreams are subjective. I'm sure dreambooks sometimes help, but I really think mostly the person has to interpret them for themselves, and they have to intuitive enough to recognize what is going on in the dream.
For me the dream meant I was working something out in my subconcious because it was dark, and the dream was about desire, something I want, and it was also about conflict and perspective on that conflict. The man was simply a token symbol of that conflict, something the two girls, who I became, or at least was able to become a part of, desired. I should also mention there were other people, other observers at the party, and there was a shadowy figure giving advice but I don't remember what it was. It makes me want to pay more attention to my dreams.
God, the universe, and our own subconcious mind all use dreams to communicate to us.
The mostremarkable instances of God using dreams to communicate his will to people are recorded in the history of Jacob (Gen. 28:12; 31:10), Laban (31:24), Joseph (37:9-11), Gideon (Judg. 7), and Solomon (1 Kings 3:5). Other significant dreams are also recorded, such as those of Abimelech (Gen. 20:3-7), Pharaoh's chief butler and baker (40:5), Pharaoh (41:1-8), the Midianites (Judg. 7:13), Nebuchadnezzar (Dan. 2:1; 4:10, 18), the wise men from the east (Matt. 2:12), and Pilate's wife (27:19). To Joseph "the Lord appeared in a dream," and gave him instructions regarding the infant Jesus (Matt. 1:20; 2:12, 13, 19). In a vision of the night a "man of Macedonia" stood before Paul and said, "Come over into Macedonia and help us" (Acts 16:9; see also 18:9; 27:23) References from Dictionary.com
I have had other symbolic and vivid dreams this past week. Some of them felt very real. Then I would wake up and realize it was just a dream. One vision was about the rise of more and more earthquakes, tidal waves, hurricanes and other natural disasters in the world. They were increasing more and more rapidly into the future and I dreamed it was all in reaction to one another and someone, an angel, or a voice told me it all began with 1998. Your guess on that one is as good as mine.

I think mine had to do with work and wanting something I hope I get. But it could also mean something else in my personal life. Or represent something God wants me to learn, that it's really all about perspective, which I've been learning about lately in my life as a whole.
My dreams are really disturbing...shant write it because it would traumatize you, but often involve death or its imminence.
