Like spinach to Popeye. Though good with tomatoes and smothered in olive oil, it's not so good from a can. It's a trial, sort a like missing my blog entries. But I'm back and I'm blogging. And just to prove I have not abandoned all 3 of my loyal readers here are some quotes about adversity:
If you're going through hell, keep going - Winston Churchill
A bend in the road is not the end of the road... unless you fail to make the turn. ~Author Unknown
I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much. ~Mother Teresa
If I had a formula for bypassing trouble, I would not pass it round. Trouble creates a capacity to handle it. I don't embrace trouble; that's as bad as treating it as an enemy. But I do say meet it as a friend, for you'll see a lot of it and had better be on speaking terms with it. ~Oliver Wendell Holmes
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. ~Garth Brooks
Now forward this to 49 members of your family/Relief Society/soccer club or you'll find some terrible adversity coming your way.
Love ya, mean it...Sincerely, SJ
