Sarah Jane in the City

My new Segment on the Nightside Project is sorta doing for me what this blog does. It's where I tell millions of people (okay, a couple hundred thousand nighttime listeners) what's going on in my life at the moment. It's a little scary. There are, after all, some things I just can't share with you people. Especially not the last six months, and especially cuz my mom listens religiously (she's a religious lady). But there it is, my life, over the airwaves. sorta like walking down mainstreet naked (you don't want to see me do this for real-yikes!). AnywaY, Jefe, I plan to mention you somewhere in tomorrows edition (funny cuz we've never met in real life, but I know you listen and that's my plan so listen for it). But what I'm getting at is I might have to do some dual coverage cuz this is where I usually put all my stuff. Though I vow to never again talk about guys I'm dating on here or on the air. That was a BIG mistake that one time or two. But I feel more than happy to share dating mishaps of me and others I know. So if you've got the stories, send em over. Hey, if you have anything you think I should explore, send it over. They don't call it writers block for nothin'. Be listening tonight. I'll talk about the perils of being a nice girl.

I try to listen to this show but I never hear you. Of course I only listen for the twenty minutes it takes me to drive home from work...

Anyway, you should tell them to put you on between 7:00 and 7:20. If they refuse, threaten to quit. If they still refuse, do quit and start your own radio station. Who's laughing now? You, when your station kills KSL in the arbitron ratings.

Oh good grief! The first twenty are the newscast and top story of the day. I'm usually in the 8 and 9 hours. Once in a while I'm in the 7 o'clock, but never before 7:20. Just listen a little longer. I'm worth it and so's the show (although I do admit to listening to Fair Game once in a while too - uh, during commercial breaks...)

Oh ya, and if you wanna hear me anyway, just go to our website http://nightside.ksl.com

When you mentioned your scooter crash last night I felt like a real insider.

I know we've talked about it before, but you should talk about how Gilgal Garden is the coolest place in Utah (even cooler than Lagoon).

hmmm that place really does deserve an investigational report. I mean what's up with that joseph sphinx?

You should do a segment on how single Mormons meet each other, because if I have to hear one more complaint about how incestuous the singles scene is I think I'm going to reenact the final scene from fight club...

That was the weirdest thing about moving back here. In DC you have no other option but to date those in your ward.

SJ,

I just listened to a bunch of your clips last night for the new segment. Righteous. Ideas for you (whatever they're worth): Cooking for one (frozen foods, real meals, or a hybrid fake meal a la trader joe's), the many faces of flirting, and little choices to save the environment or not . . .

The many faces of flirting? There are different ones? Man, I knew I was doing something wrong.

Great ideas.
