Here’s something new for the New Year-People who live in the country have better mental health than those who live in towns and cities. According to Researchers for the British Journal of Psychiatry, people living in the countryside have slightly better mental health than their counterparts living in urban areas. Some theories suggested that isolation and lack of social networks have a negative impact on country-dwellers' mental health. But other studies have shown higher rates of common mental disorders such as depression and anxiety in cities, and also higher rates of suicides.
